Eleanor Carter
Certified NeurOptimal® Trainer
Head of Strategy at Neurofeedback Brain Training
Psychologist
Connect Through Spelling (CtS) Provider
Eleanor Carter plays a vital role at Neurofeedback Brain Training, joining forces with Fiona as Head of Strategy. She is also a passionate advocate and practitioner in the field of Autism communication support.
Based in Birmingham, Eleanor is one of the few UK-based Connect Through Spelling Providers, specialising in helping autistic individuals who are non, minimally, or unreliably speaking to communicate using a letterboard. With over five years of experience, she has worked with a range of students, who face diverse challenges, building trust and connection while teaching the skill of spelling using the A–Z board.
Her background in Psychology(BSc), along with specialist training with TEFA (Teaching Education for Autism), allows her to offer highly individualised and informed support.
Eleanor works closely alongside Fiona, and there is a valuable crossover between their practices. Many individuals with autism who train with Fiona can benefit from Eleanor’s communication support—and vice versa, Eleanor’s students have seen great gains with NeurOptimal® neurofeedback.
